Practical Strategies for Dealing with Conflict, Aggression and Violence.

Due to funding from the Copeland Community Fund and Awards for all we are able to offer this course for free to Copeland providers and at £40.00 for all other organisations.
This course is ideal for anyone who wants to learn how to deal with conflict and aggressive behaviour and are keen to develop effective ways of handling it with greater confidence.
By taking part in the training, participants will:
• Have an increased awareness of their strengths and weaknesses in relation to dealing with aggression & violence
• Be able to recognise the physical signs of potential aggression
• Have learned a variety of strategies which they will be able to call upon when dealing with situations of conflict, aggression & violence
• Have learned techniques which will allow them to remain in control of difficult situations
• Have had a basic introduction to breakaway techniques through example situations.
• Be able to apply the learning to their work situation
