Young Leaders

Young Leaders

Our Young Leaders project works across Copeland and Allerdale providing support, ideas and fresh motivations to young people aged between 14 and 19 who are not in employment, education or training (NEET)  or those who are at risk of becoming NEET.

We recognise that the accepted way of learning and fitting in is not always appropriate for everyone.  Especially for young people who struggle at school for whatever reason.

We build a programme around the needs of the young person which may involve elements of accredited learning, volunteering, work placements, Duke of Edinburgh Award scheme, endurance sports and enhancing life skills.

By using these alternative methods we believe we can help young people face the future challenges that await them.

If you would like to get involved in this project or find out more, why not fill in the contact form below or if you prefer talking, give us a call on 01900 603131 and ask for Sally or Hein.
