Trudy Harrison has announced that a Skills and Careers Fair will take place in Whitehaven this month. Around 30 companies will be on hand at Whitehaven Civic Hall on Friday, April 28 (2pm to 6pm) to offer a guests a wealth of information and guidance on the range of careers that are available. This will be the fourth skills fair Trudy has hosted in the constituency, in which businesses, training/apprenticeship providers and employment support services will demonstrate the opportunities on offer to young people, jobseekers and those looking to re-train. Trudy said: “I’m hoping to build on the success of the previous Skills and Careers Fairs and look forward to welcoming everyone to Whitehaven Civic Hall on April 28.
