I am from Liverpool and trained as a children’s nurse in Alder Hey Hospital where I worked in PICU. I then went into school nursing and from there moved to Cumbria 10 years ago to be a Family Nurse working with first time teen parents. That service was decommissioned 7 years ago and I went back into Public Health for school aged children. I became a school governor 4 years ago and have volunteered for Fix The Fells for 12 years, with part of that as a volunteer for the Young Rangers programme for 2 years pre covid. I am an outdoor swimmer and fell walker and generally love to be outdoors and promote its benefits to everyone.
