Cumbria Youth Alliance in conjunction with Allerdale Borough Council will manage a series of ten youth groups within Allerdale to carry out ‘dreamscheme’ type projects.

This will give small grants to groups to carry out volunteering activities which benefit the community. The volunteers will earn points for their social action volunteering.

The points will be turned into rewards in discussion with youth groups. Young people will learn how to do business planning and budgeting for their project. They will then be eligible for accredited awards for volunteering or enterprise.

Groups wishing to take part should fill in the application form or talk to Juan, see below.
