We are a membership organisation, supporting, engaging, and working in partnership with the infrastructure of Youth Organisations throughout Cumbria, to enable them and us to deliver a range of needs led programmes so that young people can reach their full potential.

Our focus is supporting the physical, mental health and wellbeing, attainment, and emotional development of young people across the county ensuring that young people can make a successful transition into adulthood.

Cumbria Youth Alliance has three strands of work: Youth Promise, Youth Ambition and Youth Services. Youth Promise is a delivery strand providing an alternative youth work curriculum tailored for 12–18-year-olds, designed to engage individuals who may need additional support. Youth Ambition is a delivery strand to provide support to 15-24-year-olds to overcome barriers to employment by holding interventions, appointments, activities, and tailored action plans. The Youth Services strand offers infrastructure support to the third sector and provides management to different partnership projects.
