Youth Promise

Youth Promise is a delivery strand providing an alternative youthwork curriculum tailored for 12–18-year-olds, designed to engage individuals who may need additional support.

The Youth Promise delivery strand supports young people aged between 12–18, offering an alternative youthwork curriculum aimed at engaging those who may require further support.

Each programme is designed to work with the young person to improve social development, build emotional resilience and raise aspirations, preparing young people to make a successful transition to adulthood. The portfolio of projects available through the Youth Promise strand is informed by the needs of young people here in Cumbria.

The 'Money Matters' programme provides both life skills, financial awareness and budgeting skills for young people in care. Our aim is to enable these young people to look forward to a positive adult life, by helping them to reverse instability and enhance their employability prospects.
