Youth Ambition Lead
Gary started working for Cumbria Youth Alliance in July 2017, working as part of the team on the First Steps to Employment and the Choices projects.
Gary is currently the project lead for the Youth Ambition strand at Cumbria Youth Alliance. Working to help develop and deliver programmes for young people, supporting them into and to sustain long term employment, which meets personal career aspirations.
In 2021 we were awarded funding by the Youth Futures Foundation to deliver a county wide employment focused programme and moved over to co-manage this project.
Prior to starting with CYA, Gary was working on the DWP work programme at the Trades Hall Centre, Workington.
