We're Recruiting: Sessional Outreach Workers
Are you passionate about supporting young people to overcome barriers, build confidence and achieve their potential?
Cumbria Youth Alliance is looking to expand our team of Sessional Outreach Workers to support the delivery of a range of exciting projects. Current opportunities are mainly based in West Cumbria, with further opportunities expected across the county.
This is a flexible role where no two days are the same. You could be working one-to-one with a young person, delivering group sessions, supporting activities in communities or helping young people take positive steps towards education, employment and brighter futures.
We're looking for people who:
- Have experience of working with young people (a Youth Work qualification is desirable, or equivalent experience)
- Can build positive, trusting relationships
- ️Are adaptable, motivated and enthusiastic
- ️Hold a full UK driving licence and are able to travel as part of an outreach role
In return, you'll join a supportive team delivering meaningful work across Cumbria, with opportunities for training, professional development and the potential to gain recognised Youth Work qualifications.
