This project works with young people with learning difficulties and/or autism aged 15-25. This project focusses on wellbeing, aspirations and transition. This project looks to develop self-advocacy skills, supporting young people to be confident in their own voice, representing themselves and ‘rooting’ that voice in shaping their future. Delivery consists of young person-centred activities, one-to-one support and targeted outreach engagement in schools and youth centres. Activities/sessions take place weekly, developing a regular young-person focussed safe space/time to talk and get used to having their voice heard.
Young people and their families can get in touch if they want to take part in our activities. This project is for young people with learning difficulties aged 15-25 with learning difficulties and/or autism but we do not require any official diagnosis or evidence. Simply call or email to find out more information, fill in a membership form and come along to an activity.
