Senior Manager - HR & Operations
James joined CYA in July 2022 as Senior Manager for HR and Operations. Before joining CYA, James had a career working as a teacher in Secondary Geography and then moved into the youth sector for the Scouts in South Cumbria. In recent years James has worked for Groundwork in Devon and Cornwall building the teams working on youth, employment, and community projects.
James is passionate about the power of the youth sector to change the lives of the young people in our communities, helping the team to grow and develop to meet these needs. Outside of work you will find James in the outdoors, especially mountain biking, rock climbing and walking with Archie (A mischievous Cairn Terrier!).
